We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Business Development Manager - Away From Home to join us on a 12 month contract basis full-time working at our Sales & Distribution division on site in Banbury.  Flexible & remote working options available.

 

As a Business Development Manager - Away From Home, your duties will include:

  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities for our main brand partners including & Johnson, SC Johnson, Colgate, Reckitt, P&G and of course PZ Cussons which will be a key focus for this channel
  • Target key end user accounts such as nursing homes, hotels, leisure and facilities, restaurants, etc. with a view to carry out at least 6+ meetings per week
  • Gain a great understanding of customers i.e. key business objectives, contacts, corporate and category strategy and be able to identity business synergies that will drive mutual growth
  • Work on channel specific projects within target end-users
  • Gain new listings in existing customers in line with brand power skus & focus areas
  • Support the NAMs in the AFH team with existing & new business opportunity
  • Track forecasting and progress in regular reporting

What we are looking for in our ideal Business Development Manager - Away From Home:

  • You will be ambitious and have at least 1-2 years’ experience working in a sales role.  Channel experience is preferred, but not essential
  • You will be able to demonstrate success winning new business and be confident with cold calling endeavours and self-generated new business leads
  • You will be a great communicator with solid influencing skills and be able to build good, professional relationships easily
  • You will be customer focused, be creative and autonomous which in turn will support your development and growth of your accounts
  • You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a growing team with a desire to support colleagues
  • As you'll be visiting clients, a full driving licence is essential
